so i've been pretty busy lately with work. keeping the apartment clean is a hassle, maybe i should just hire a maid service... and maybe a personal chef too...

dawn and i have 2 awesome friends here. their names are rollins and toast, here is a photo of them:

i miss the friendly hang outs back in michigan (d&d, magic tourny's, denny's nights). california isn't a different planet, my phone number doesn't have a mars area code.

the weather was really nice here a few weeks back but it cooled off the past week or so. i'm wanted to take surf lessons on the weekend it was 90 but was too whipped to make it to the beach, but surf lessons don't start until june anyway. i figure it can't any more difficult than first starting to skateboard.

i am pretty excited about my parents coming to visit, and the san diego comic con (chris is going to meet me and dawn there).

i didn't like the new spider man movie. it was about 45 minutes too long. venom didn't even need to be in it. probably would have been better if venom was lead up to, and was the main villian for a fourth film. seemed like the film tried to cram too much stuff in.

went to dia to see ansel adams exibit with dawn on saturday. it wasn't much to brag about, but it was nice. went to slows after for an early dinner. it ended up being extremely busy but we waited it out and ate some delicious food.

went to comic con with dawn on sunday. it was pretty fun. i bought her an ugly doll and neil gamain's death graphic novel. i bought a bunch of graphic novels for $40 from a cool vendor who gave me a few for free because they were slightly damaged. bought a few films, including the takeshi's which is supposed to be hilarious. talked with major victory (yeah, that guy from who wants to be a super hero). he was pretty cool, i bought a sweet shirt from him.

lost season finale this wednesday.
pirates 3 this thursday.

this week was busy and full of lots of things to talk about... but alas, i don't feel like typing much. so summary here we go: i had finals this week. i think i did alright, hopefully i'll get my grades soon. dawn got me pretty flowers and a pirate game the other day! <3x2+5*7 for her! i got tattooed yesterday. it didn't hurt. its only about half done, i go back in 2 weeks to get it finished. it looks flipin' sweet. photos to come soon i guess.
